Charcot Reconstruction
Charcot foot and ankle is a condition characterized by gradual weakening of the bones, joints and soft tissues, and loss of sensation in the foot and ankle. It is caused by nerve damage (neuropathy) in the foot and ankle or due to diabetes.
Jones Fracture Treatment
A Jones fracture is a break at the junction between the base and the shaft of the fifth metatarsal. It’s one of the more common foot injuries Dr. Driver treats in his Fort Worth and Weatherford practice, and it can be slow to heal because that particular stretch of bone receives less blood flow than the surrounding areas.
