Dr. Driver completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Oklahoma (OU) before attending medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He completed a rigorous, three-year foot and ankle surgical residency in Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado. During residency he had the privilege of serving as Chief resident at a level 1 trauma center.
He then went on to complete an additional year of fellowship-training in complex foot and ankle surgery in Roanoke, Virginia at one of the top foot and ankle fellowship programs in the country.
During his training, he became proficient in total ankle replacement, foot and ankle reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, bunion correction, Charcot deformity, and foot and ankle trauma. In addition, he learned advanced methods of ankle arthroscopy, lateral ankle stabilization, sports medicine and injuries, deformity correction, flatfoot reconstruction, tendon ruptures and repairs, and complex foot/ankle reconstruction.
He also has advanced training in Limb Salvage; including external fixation, Charcot reconstruction, muscle flaps, and skin grafting techniques.
He stays up to date with the most current surgical techniques and literature and participates in presenting lectures and teaching residents and upcoming physicians.
In his free time, Dr. Driver spends time with his wife, two children, and their yellow Labrador retriever. He enjoys the outdoors and loves sports as well. He grew up in Norman, Oklahoma and is a big fan of college football.
