Dr. Driver earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Oklahoma before attending medical school at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He went on to complete a rigorous, three-year surgical residency in foot and ankle medicine in Denver, Colorado, serving as Chief Resident at a Level I trauma center.
Following residency, Dr. Driver spent a year in Roanoke, Virginia at one of the nation’s top fellowship programs in the field, where he completed a highly competitive fellowship in complex foot and ankle surgery.
Throughout his training, Dr. Driver became proficient in total ankle replacement, foot and ankle reconstruction, minimally invasive surgery, bunion correction, Charcot deformity, and foot and ankle trauma. He also learned advanced methods of ankle arthroscopy, lateral ankle stabilization, sports medicine and injuries, deformity correction, flatfoot reconstruction, tendon ruptures and repairs, and complex foot and ankle reconstruction. Additionally, he has advanced, specialized training in limb salvage procedures, including external fixation, Charcot reconstruction, muscle flaps, and skin grafting.
Dr. Driver remains dedicated to advancing his knowledge and skills by staying current with the latest surgical techniques, research, and literature. He stays active in the field by presenting at conferences, authoring papers, and mentoring residents and future physicians.
In his free time, Dr. Driver enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and their yellow Labrador retriever. He loves the outdoors and is a loyal OU football fan—a proud nod to his hometown of Norman, OK.
